USDA Rolls Back Michelle Obama's School Lunch Regulations, Allowing More Salt and Fat
Children deserve healthier foods. The “foods” served in school lack true nutritional value. It’s a disservice to our children to not be offered real foods from good sources. Good nutrition helps prevent many illnesses and is the foundation to a healthy immune system.
How children eat when they are younger has a striking impact on their health throughout adolescence and adulthood. Consuming nutritious foods helps children and teens grow, fight illnesses, develop, do well academically and feel good about themselves.
